At the Edges of Confusion aka '1926 combination mail' - Page 7

Another Dinnebier confusion piece originating 'off-route'
- at the 'exotic' Transcontinental AMF location, Bellefonte

Part of the 'patina' of the AMF Bellefonte postmark is that it is oversize
and it seems to have always been applied in purple.

This postmark contributes to the overall eye appeal of Dinnebier's confusion mail.

Covers were-positioned by Dinnebier at Bellefonte; AMF cancel applied;
dispatched Jun 6 1926 to connect with CAM-7 inaugural service Jun 7.

It seems there were ongoing efforts to get Bellefonte AMF postmarks applied to mail as backstamps.
No success has been noted to date.

And the AMF postmark brings the AMF section of the AAMC into play -
maybe we should be thinking of Venn diagrams [intersecting circles]:
on one side the Confusion circle intersects with the AMF circle -
and close by, intersecting with both, there the Off-Route circle.

If we then colored the circles the result could be a logo for breakfast cereal.
